Final Inspection Upon Cage Completion
Please review this information multiple times and use this checklist for every cage.

Screen is installed, tight, and trimmed, with no holes or defects
Doors are installed and close tightly
All fasteners are installed, tightened, and flush
Door handle is installed at 54" height to the handle (Door stopper is removed only in Manatee County)
Roof beams are secured from the top and bottom
Roof beams are screwed to vertical posts with the correct size and number of screws
Roof beam and gutter angles are in place with the correct size and number of screws
Angles between roof beam and carry beam are in place with the correct size and number of screws
Beams 2x8 or smaller: use #12 screws
Beams 2x9 or larger: use #14 screws
End caps installed on all open beams and riser walls
Wall uprights are screwed off from both inside and outside
Primary and secondary angles are installed on uprights and front wall corner posts with correct size and number of
6x6 or 4x4 posts to carry beam are bolted according to engineering specs with the proper number and size of bolts
Gutters are checked for leaks
Gutters and all screws are sealed with silicone
Silicon is applied neatly (no drips)
Gutter straps: installed
For beams 2x8 or smaller: one strap per beam
For beams 2x9 or larger: one strap per beam and one between beams
Two straps on inside and outside corners
Gutter is fastened with #14 x 2.5 screws, 18" on center
Grounding is installed and connected to the pump
Report any damage to tile, walls, or structure to Pavel without delay
Tie-down cables are installed and secured
Screws are checked against the plan and counted
Screw sizes are rechecked at final cage completion and match the drawings/ plan
Verify 3/8 LDT sPrimer on paver deck and confirm placement of secondary angles on uprights
Scratches painted
Hex Screws Bolts cuts painted over
Inside cage area vacuumed/cleaned
Out side Area METALL/screws cleaned
Final inspection was conducted with the homeowner
